Four Great Golf Gifts To Please Any Golfer

Golf season is just around the corner, and nothing will please your favorite golfer more than a cool golf gadget. Heck, some of these are so cool that I bought them for myself. There are a lot of cool tools for golf out there, but these four are sure to excite your son, your dad, yourself, or your best friend without breaking the bank.
  1. Garmin Golf GPS Watch ($150): The Garmin Golf GPS watch has taken the game by storm. With thousands of preloaded courses, and instant distances with the convenience of a watch, this watch has become very popular, and is some of the best golf tech out there. I got one of these for my dad, and he's in love with it.
  2. Zepp Golfsense 3D Swing Analyzer ($120): After seeing the Golfsense in action, I actually bought one of these in preparation for father's day 2013 (Shh!). The Golfsense attaches to dad's glove, measures swings through a variety of onboard sensors and processors, and then sends all the swing data over to a companion iPhone/iPad app via bluetooth. From right on the course, you can find the most incredible information visually displayed about your swing, and it's all instant.
  3. Swingshot HD Swing Video device ($330): Here's a golf gadget I don't known. A PGA professional who enjoys golf gizmos as much as I do, showed me this with excitement one day. The swingshot solves the challenge of videoing one's self on the course, which is an incredible tool for learning. Normally, with video, you'd need to carry a tripod, a camera case, and keep the camera rolling while you swung, or somehow manage to stand your phone against a tree. The Swingshot is built for golf, making swing capture a breeze. A built-in timer makes recording effortless. The long, skinny design means it's not only self-standing, but fits right into a golf bag, without requiring stuffing. The video quality is fantastic, and it definitely pays for itself in avoided lessons.
  4. Golfbuddy World Platinum GPS Rangefinder ($220 - a steep discount): We'll end our preseason gift guide to golf tech with this excellent rangefinder. It's preloaded with 40,000 golf courses, all displayed on a beautiful full color display, and maps that will make conquering a new course seem easy. It's shock, and water resistant  making it great for all conditions, and it'll even keep the score for your group if you'd like.
I hope one of these golf gadgets makes you or your golfer as happy as they've made me.
